Creating a Statistical Profile of the Average Roulette Player
Andrew Shepard is a roulette specialist with more than ten years of field experience. He covers international markets across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. At Daybet.biz, he leads content on strategy testing, simulators, and game mechanics.
Daybet.biz is the largest roulette project, and it has hundreds of thousands of users in the USA. Based on statistical data, this allows us to create an approximate profile of a roulette player. Since the sample is sufficiently large, one can claim the objectivity of these data. For this, we used statistics from Google Analytics. We focused on several main metrics: gender, age, devices, and interests.
Let's begin with the introductory quantitative data; since Google Analytics operates with data from the last 2 years, we set the corresponding filter. During this period, Daybet.biz was visited by almost half a million active users, constituting 24% of the total users.

Now, let's move on to a more detailed portrait of a roulette player. Thus, the average roulette player is a male, with a probability of 74.5%, and only in 25.5% of cases do females play. This pattern can be observed by analyzing users from other countries; statistically, men play more often.

Regarding age, nearly 27% of all roulette users are people aged 18 to 24. In second place are users aged 25 to 34 (20% of the total). Although other age groups have a lower percentage, they show that interest in roulette is present even after 60 years.

Since Google Analytics uses cookies and other technologies to record data about which sites/pages users visit overall, this allows us to add the other interests of the roulette player to the portrait. Thus, roulette players are more interested in news, technology, sports, and various kinds of entertainment.

The last point of our portrait is device preference. Here, it is clear that almost 59% of roulette players use mobile devices, 40% prefer desktop versions, and only 1.5% use tablet devices for playing roulette.

If we talk about specific device preferences, then the roulette player from the USA, in most cases, uses devices based on iOS rather than Android and uses Chrome as the browser. By the way, this distinguishes him from users from other countries, with more Android users.

Now, let's summarize and outline the portrait of the average roulette player in America. Thus, mainly young males aged up to 34 years are actively using mobile technology. He:
- Values convenience and mobility: Playing on a smartphone allows him to be connected at any time and in any place.
- Is interested in technology and sports: Besides gambling, he is attracted by news, the latest technological solutions, and sports events, which may indicate the possibility of parallel participation in sports betting.
- Is open to diverse entertainments: His interests go beyond one game, which makes him an audience with a wide range of digital hobbies.
