How Andrucci System Works
The system first asks you to do an "analysis". To put it simply, you will follow the game results over a certain period of time and try to detect a “pattern”. Here, pattern refers to the most frequently occurring numbers. Let's explain how the system works using a list:
- Join a live roulette game but do not place a bet. Follow the game through 37 spins and note the results. When you're done, you should have a list of 37 numbers.
- Take a look at this list and identify which numbers pop up the most.
- Join the game and place a straight bet on these numbers only. Keep doing this until you win.
The system says that you will win before 35 spins and make a profit when this happens. Do not continue playing after winning. You have to go back to the beginning, that is, watch a game again, note the 37 results, and repeat the whole cycle.
We can help you understand better by giving a practical example. Let's say that in the list where you noted the 37 results, you noticed that the number “21” appeared more than the others. All you have to do is place a $1 straight bet on 21 and repeat this until you win. Let's assume you win on the 20th spin. By now, you will have spent $20, and the payout will be $35. So, you are making a $15 profit.
Seems too good to be true, right? It's practical, easy to use and promises definitive results. These are all good things, but how do they play out in the real world? As we always do, we will share our opinions after testing the system.
Testing the Andrucci System
The system claims that it is enough to follow 37 spins to detect a pattern, but we want to take it one step further. We will follow a live roulette game for a much longer period of time and see if we can actually find the “hot number”.
We have a tool that allows us to do this. This tool is able to track the statistics of Pragmatic Play live roulette games, that is, it can run automatically for any period of time and save all the results. For this test, we chose the “Azure Roulette” game and collected the results for a full 24 hours.
When we look at these results, we see that the numbers 36, 13, 26, 32, and 30 appear more than the others. Among these, 36 comes first: it has been the result 87 times in 2,518 spins. Now that we have determined the number on which we will place the straight bet, we can start playing. You can see the results in the table below: we placed a bet on “36” for 76 spins. Over the course of 76 spins, the result was 36 only twice. This is not a surprising result considering the chances of winning a straight bet. The fact that the first of these occurred on the 22nd spin may have excited you (because the system guarantees winning before the 35th spin), but we advise you not to get too excited: as we will explain below, the Andrucci system is not based on anything other than mystical belief.
Pitfalls of Andrucci System
Chaos Theory is… not this. It says there may actually be a pattern to the unforeseen consequences that a simple action can lead to, something called the “Butterfly Effect”. We don't intend to explain it in detail, don't worry - just know that it cannot be used in a game such as roulette, where all probabilities are reset with each spin. Your chance of winning a straight bet is always 2.70% (European) or 2.63% (American roulette) and this never changes, that is, it does not increase or decrease depending on a “pattern”. There is no such thing as a pattern in roulette. As long as all probabilities are reset with each spin, it is impossible to detect a pattern. The Andrucci system is similar to the strategies used in the ‘70s when gamblers tried to find physical flaws on the wheel. In other words, it is meaningless and does not have any mathematical basis.
Let's assume that chaos theory is true in some sense. In this case, would a sequence of only 37 numbers be enough to compile certain statistics on the numbers? Definitely not. If you track hot/cold numbers, then over large numbers of spins - hundreds or even thousands. For most live roulettes, by the way, such statistics are available, and there is no need to manually calculate the most frequent numbers.
Speaking of the ‘70s, roulette wheels have changed a lot since then. Now there is no defect on any of them, all the wheels are identical, and they do not differ from each other in terms of “performance pattern” – we are not even sure what that means. The Andrucci system may be the best example of the “gambler's fallacy”. Thinking that past results will affect future results is a mistake even professional gamblers make, and it never ends well. There are no hot-cold numbers in roulette. You can never know when you will win in a game. If a system claims that you will win at a certain point (for example, before 35 spins), it is absolutely unreliable. Unfortunately, the Andrucci system has no validity: we recommend not wasting time with it.
Conclusion
Even though it doesn't work, this is a very low-risk strategy because all you do is place a straight bet. In other words, it does not require you to take on more risk than the inherent risk of this type of bet, and since it is based on $1 wagers, it allows you to get a very long playing time. If you cannot decide which number to choose in straight bets, you can consider using it, but remember that it will not have any other benefit.
