Gold Vault Roulette was introduced by Evolutionin 2023 as a reworked version of Gold Bar Roulette, released a year earlier. Visually, the game is designed in the style of a bank vault, and the mechanics largely resemble other multiplier games, meaning that multipliers are applied tostraight-up bets. The payout without multipliers is also reduced to 24:1. However, the game has its own key features. Let us look at this in the context of how a round in Gold Vault Roulette takes place:

1. Players place their bets, after which the dealer opens a vault with 4 cells, where from 5 to 20 “gold bars” are placed.
2. Each bar has a multiplier of 50x, and up to three bars may be applied to a single number, increasing the multiplier to 150x.
3. In addition, the vault may also contain a “Super Bar” with a multiplier of x500.
4. Then, if a winning number with a bar comes up, the player receives a payout with the multiplier applied.
5. In real-money play, if a straight-up number without a bar comes up, the payout is 24:1. The process then repeats.

Evolution states that the RTP is 97.03%, which is only slightly lower than the standard European rouletterate of 97.30%. However, in practice, since the payout for straight-up bets without multipliers is 24:1, this also affects the RTP of the bet. Let us look at this using the RTP calculation formula:

In real-money play, as a base, let us take a bet amount of 5 dollars. The payout for a straight-up bet in the game, as you already know, is 24:1, and the odds of loss and the odds of win are 36/37 and 1/37, respectively. Substituting the necessary data into the formula, we get a slightly different result than stated by the provider:

A major advantage of Gold Vault Roulette is that the number of lucky numbers can reach up to 20, and the multipliers range from x50 to x500. However, in practice, the maximum multiplier occurs very rarely. According to the statistics of our game session, most multipliers were between x50 and x150, which is actually not that bad.

The key focus here is covering the table with straight-up bets. As before, our team suggests betting on 12–13 numbers. Another interesting way to achieve such coverage is by using the “6 neighbors” bet on the racetrack. Simply set the number of neighbors to 6, then place a bet on one of the numbers on the racetrack, and 12 additional bets will be automatically placed: 6 neighboring numbers to the right of the selected number and 6 neighboring numbers to the left.
